Exporting Range/Section of Motion Timeline?

Exporting Range/Section of Motion Timeline? was created by Shane M
Any idea how to export only a section or "range" of a Motion timeline instead of sharing the entire project each time?
It seem possible to be able to do that if you select one thing on the timeline, but want to export just a section of a few things interacting together...any way to do this like in FCPX or is it not possible?
Thanks

Set the Play Range. This is different than the Project Duration.
Park your playhead, then use Opt-Cmd-i or Opt-Cmd-o to make In and Out points for the Play Range.
When you export, in the Export window, be sure in the Options section, Duration is set to "Use play range", not "Entire project".
This is also super helpful when you are working on just one isolated section of the project, and only want to loop playback that little part, and not see the whole project.
