Curl Flip Transition was created by damiangrady

Anyone know the best way to achieve the kind of curl flip transition on the speech bubble at the end of this commercial using FCPX or Motion? I've tried with page curl but a) I can't change the pivot point and b) it only shows the backside of the original image and not the second image on the reverse.

Any help would be appreciated.
