Pixel Conduit and Conduit 3D

Are these the same thing or is it just a name coincidence?

Also, I noticed that the Conduit website got a new page banner today, I think. Both of these software seem to be dead and then after long periods of time they get updates. Are they dead or what? Are they the same thing? How about some streamlining with this product. Update the website if it's still alive. If it is alive, I'm worried to buy it simply because of the way the website looks.

Related, but different apps. DVGarage hasn't updated that thing in a couple years. Pixel Conduit is the guys separating from DVGarage and perusing the development on their own. DVGarage was great distribution in its day, but its day is over. Pixel Conduit is the latest update to the applications/plug-ins. So if you guy, you want the Pixel Conduit site. Very up to date. IF this is the plug-in/app you want to spend time learning. It's like a more user friendly version of Quartz Composer.
