Easiest way to send file from FCPX to Motion 5 was created by wdevn
This maybe an old question. What is the easiest or best way to bring a FCPX video / timeline into Motion 5?
I know Motion 5 projects are shared. I would like to be able to place a video file on the timeline in Motion 5.
PS: I understand now that the app FCPX SEND TO Motion (from Alex King) is a no go.

Be Export Master File for each clip or for the full timeline at once. There is no real roundtrip.

Depending on what you are creating.
Another option is to create a Motion Template Effect or Generator. This way you could just add the clips inside of FCPX. This is great if you have tons of clips and a similar effect for all.

That feature has not been added to FCPX yet. Now that I have seen that Motion is getting upgrades I am sure we will see it added soon.
