Applying Bad TV filter makes video disappear was created by Wondering

Started using Motion 5 and altho most filters work, when I apply the Bad TV filter it makes the video disappear. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can you give us a screen shot of how your project is set up? More details on what you did and such?

Wow thanks for the quick response! I simply imported a single video clip, selected the group in the Layers window and tried applying various filters. They all worked instantly except for Bad TV, Add Noise and Bad Film. Interestingly, those 3 filters (the first 3 in the Stylize Library) have no sample thumbnail vids.

Sounds like you have either third party filters installed that are not compatible with your version of Motion, or you haven't downloaded all the extra content.

In the "Motion'" menu, top left, go to Download Additional Content" and if it downloads anything, give it plenty of time.
