Why would you publish a parameter, then hide it? Simply don't publish it.

It is handy to combine parameters into groups which can be shown or hidden based on other parameter choices.

No hide forever, collapse controls for better organisation. Like show / hide features in FCPX Inspector.

According to the tech specs, you're right. 1GB VRAM is recommended for 3D Text and you have 512MB.

I'm actually glad they don't block me from using it and instead just show a warning. So far I haven't noticed a problem.
