Exporting Custom Transition with Sound Effect to FCP: How?

Hello,

Whenever I create a custom transition with sound effect in Motion 5, it exports to Final Cut Pro WITHOUT the audio. The sound does play when I play it on Motion though.

I'm really new to Final Cut Pro and Motion. Could someone please point me to a tutorial or explain why it seems to only export the transition and not the audio as well?

All I'm trying to do is make a slide transition with a slide sound effect. Thank you for your help.

Motion templates for FCPX do not carry sound with them, sorry. Just isn't built to do that at this time. You'll have to add the sound effect in FCPX's timeline afterward. Royal PITA, I know, that that's the way it is.
