I have made a video wall that the mask around each video makes the shape of the video look like and old TV screen. Now I would like to make a series of borders(frames) around the video so that you get a sense of dimension. I am not sure how to proceed, I have Google making borders but none of them seem to work with what I am wanting to do. Is there an easy way to make these borders in Motion or do I have to go back and make the border(frame) in Photoshop and add it to the video before I do the replication?

Find a border that fits as you wish. Then replicate it, adjust to fit. Should be that easy. Just be sure the border replicator layers/group is on top of your videos.

Hello!
To create a simple border, what I usually do is make a duplicate of the mask shape and than add that on top of your image. Make that new duplicate visible and then change it from fill to outline.
The bonus to this is that if you add a link parameter from the mask to the border for the roundness you can control both mask and border rounds with one click. Then if you duplicate this pattern for all other screens in your wall and link parameter like roundness, color and width to the master screen you can then control the entire wall with one single parameter.
If you download this free template you can get a better idea of what I mean: motion-master-templates.com/rotate-bounce/
Here is an example of how I used the above procedure for an entire multi wall: motion-master-templates.com/two-twelve-multi-wall/
Please let me know if you have any questions. Have an amazing day!
