Flickering/alternating colours when exported

Flickering/alternating colours when exported was created by Zukabak
Hi folks, I'm pretty new to FCPX & Motion, but hopefully the answer to this is a simple one.
I've created a simple camera sweep in motion5, using a black and white image that I've imported from Photoshop CS6.
Although the only colours in it are B&W, it's saved as an RGB 8bit PSD file.
It's a few layers, and I'm using Motion to create a 2.5d image.. It all looks great when rendered, but when I actually export it (ProRes 4444, colour+alpha) the simple white images with black text are suddenly all random colours and they flicker/alternate as the camera pans around them. So for instance object 'a' which is just a plain white box with black writing on, appears neon pink.. Object 'b' is the same, but with different text.. Which appears as bright orange etc.
Does anyone know why it's doing this? I've tried exporting it a few different ways, but it seems to make no difference!
Thanks!

First,
Then be sure before exporting, in the Render menu (top right of Canvas), be sure Render is set to Best, Resolution is set to Full (Dynamic turned off), and everything else in the Render menu is un-checked. Then in the Export window, just set it all to use the Canvas settings.
Be sure to use the Export Movie option (Cmd-E), and that when using ProRes 4x4, that PreMultiply Alpha is checked. Very important!
If none of that works, I'd go to the Mark menu, to the bottom in the RAM Preview sub-menu, and select Clear RAM Preview, just to be safe.
Next, I'd try using Preference Manager (free from DigitalRebellion.com) to clear our Motion's preferences.
What version of Motion are you using? This was a buggy issue a few versions back, but exporting from the current version (5.1.1) is pretty solid.

Thanks Ben, I'll look into trashing the preferences etc when I get home.
It's just SO strange, in that it renders fine in the playback window. I did notice however that in the little 'media' panel in the top left where you can play the media, it's flickering in there too! So something's clearly amiss.

If it plays back oddly in the file browser's Preview pane, then yes, something is odd. I'd check out the video clip by itself in QT Player, verify it is not messed up to begin with. Next, what are your system specs, and what codec/format is the video clip you're having trouble with?

It's not a video file, that's what's so strange.
It's just a plain B&W static image (poster design) that I've exported from Photoshop as a PSD file in order to preserve the layers, which I've then moved around into 'Z' space to provide some depth via motion.
My main machine is a Hackintosh - i7 4770k, 32GB RAM, nVidia GTX770 etc..
I've had a tinker with saving the project and importing into Motion on my old 2010 MacBook Pro and it's fine.. even if it does take NINE MINUTES to render vs 22 seconds on the Hackintosh..haha.
SO, it's either hardware related (entirely possible) or a strange preferences issue.
Thanks for the help!

No clue what's going on with a Hackintosh, but if it works fine on a "Mac", I'd definitely look at hardware issues. Perhaps a GPU firmware update or something. Who knows...

All sorted!
I simply uninstalled Motion and reinstalled it via the App store.
A little bit drastic, but everything's working exactly as expected now. It must have been a weird corruption somewhere, but at least I know it was nothing to do with some option I'd ticked or missed somewhere.
