mObject Skin shader? was created by Waterbear
Anyone tried mObject with a human model yet? All the packs are inorganic objects and I was curious to see if anyone has given a skin shader a shot and what the results were. Thanks!

As much of a fan of mObject as I am, I think human models is getting out of the logical use for this form of 3D application. mObject allows us to bring an extra level of depth to motion graphics. For years I've been cheating things like iPhones and computers- just flat images which I'd put clients web pages on. Now I no longer need to cheat those elements.
Even mObject's AE counterpart, Element3D, has shied away from character models and animation.
If you're getting into any kind of character animation, then moving up to focused 3D animation package is the way to go.

Oh yeah, I get that. (3D artist here, new-ish to motion)
I'm just wondering about a skin shader, not organic animation.

This caught my eye, but haven't tried it yet:

You can select skin shaders for a range of ethnicities. Strong integration with Blender and no doubt exports as OBJ for importing into mObject.

Hmm, that might a cool way to start base meshes. Thanks!
I'll check out their shaders too
