Certain Layers Not Exporting from Motion was created by bradywurtz
I'm working on a motion project, and at one point I have gears turning inside a conveyor belt. Watching it in Motion 5, i can see the gears. I go to 'Share - Export Movie...' and leave all settings as 'same as composition', and even in the preview window, when i scrub through it, i can see the gears. But when i export it, the exported file does not have the gear layers.
I decided to send to compressor, but when i did this, in the preview window on Compressor, the gears are gone.
What am i doing wrong or what things should i be looking for to make sure I can export these gear layers as part of my composition?

UPDATE: Now an entire Group has disappeared from the canvas and I have no idea what happened.
Here is a screen recording of the issue. the Group 'Old Fashion Belt' will now show on the Canvas anymore for no reason. It's just gone. Opacity is at 100% for each layer and group inside 'Old Fashion Belt', but nothing shows up anymore. I worked so hard on making objects and shapes and they all disappear for no reason and I have no idea how to get any of them back. Someone please help! If you need more information let me know, i desperately need this back!

I've deleted the whole group and rebuilt everything again. But i'm still finding that no matter what i do, when i go to export my video, the gears do not show up in my exported video.
I got the gears from inside Motion under 'Library - Content - Clock Gear'
I add it to my project and it doesn't show up in my export, but i can see it in my canvas.
Is there a reason for this? Is it because it's in a certain group that might have some option turned on i don't know about? I always assumed if i saw it in the canvas, it would be there in my export.

Only thing I can see is that it is out of the Camera's view. I see Metal Sheet Copy has a scale of 0%. I see opacity keyframes in some places. Not knowing where the Camera is, or why you have a camera for 2D layers, too much missing information.
