Hi there,
Anyone know if there is an equivalent to the Pre-Compose function of After Effects in Motion 5?

Groups, and Group inside of Groups. Unless pre-comps do something more than that which I'm not aware of.

Ben does Apple Motion support color space? If I export ProRes from a Arri as ProRes will it keep the color space?

What I'm trying to do is take a logo (png) which is 500px x 500px and apply a Particle Metrix filter to it.
However, the effect doesn't go beyond the boundary of the logo image and so is clipped.
I tried creating another group and placing the logo group within that and applying the effect to the parent group but the effect still stops at the edge of the logo and not the edge of the frame.
With pre-compose in After Effects, this is a useful way around that because the new comp created from a pre-compose effectively places the logo in the centre of a 1920 x 1080 frame and the effect is applied to that and not the logo element of it.
Does that make sense?

In the inspector pane, in the image tab (farthest to the right) you can manually expand the resolution of the group to whatever you want. This should prevent any cutoff from happening to your elements.
I think the group needs to be a 2D group for the group resolution to be available.
