Anyway to "Publish" timings for a Motion Template was created by Scott Markowitz
I'm working on a Motion Template for a job I'm doing. I'm making templates in Motion 5, and all is going really great. I have animation keyframes in Motion to make different shapes animate at different times.
Things would be perfect, if I could figure this one problem out:
Is there a way to publish the timing of certain animation so that I can adjust WHEN an event happens inside FCPX? I haven't figured out a way to do this.
Any thoughts?

You can do build in's and build outs. These will happen no matter how long your clip is. To do animated keyframes in a fire off pattern, i would recommend building an effect (this is one of 5 options at the template browser). I am not positive on this, but it probably would do what you want it to do.
