hello
i am pretty New in editing, but i find it weary fun, since i do a lot of underwater films i would like to find a way to color correct in a easy way, the colors of the water in norway is green-ish an my thought was that i could make a filter or template in motion that i could use in final cut x later (i would need to do the job only once)
is this even possible?

you do know, you're allowed to save your own color-correction.settings within FCPX?

to 'create'/save a preset, which adds some 'depth' (pun, pah! ;) ) by raising contrasts and lowers the green (or whatever your seas have), that is a simple & effective method method.

One of my toy-cams, a 30€ thingie, which has to survive inside a soccer-goal, has some terrible colors, black gets purple etc. FCPX auto-correction fails… so, I made me 'in hours of trial 'n error' a 'goalcampreset' - click/applied.-

Motion is nicer, when you like to create controllers, which, e.g., with one slider controls two/many 'effects' simultanously.-

glad, I could help! (I'm just a beginner …)
