I've just posted a tip for those of you publishing Motion 5 effects in Final Cut Pro X.
When trying out of of my effects in Final Cut, I went to undo a recent change and found that the Undo text wouldn't make sense to anyone who doesn't work in Motion 5. In this specific effect I used a dummy effect to produce on-screen controls. That meant that any change to the on-screen controls set the Undo text to 'Undo Kaleidotile Change' instead of (in this case) 'Undo Transform Change'. I was using an instance of Kaleidotile's on-screen controls to set the scale, position and rotation of a mask.
