I know it's simple, but it seems I have a problem with speed remap in FCP 6. I am following this tutorial of speed changes in timeline: www.photoshoproadmap.com/Photoshop-videos/watch/161792847
I have long clips 3 to 5 minutes long shot with GoPro. I am trying to remap a 10 second section, I am making a clip independent, but then when I play it back in my timeline a whole 3 minute clip shows up. What am I missing?
I transcoded H.264 to ProRes, so the timeline is ProRes 720/60p. Where I have a problem is that it seems that time remap effects the whole 5 minute clip. I have 5 minute 10 seconds clip. I mark In and Out points in the middle, drop it on timeline. Then I want to do time remap of the 15 second clip (between I and O) as the tutorial shows. I make the clip independent, but when I render the sequence it shows the entire 5 minutes 10 seconds. I tried to make a new sequence, copy paste the clip, but did the same. What I am trying to find out how to remap that 15 seconds without the whole 5 minute clip being effected.
