There's no support. They're just selling off remaining stock. It's better than throwing them in the trash. While supplies last, and they're going fast.
Apple traditionally leaves old downloads up for quite some time, too.

That's the normal price, and it's still way cheaper than PPro or Avid (which IMHO are both way over priced). Considering you're getting FCP, Color, Motion, DVDSP, STP, Compressor, Cinema Tools, it's actually a great bargain.
