Hi,
my FCP7 Log and Capture shut down during capturing
I have a mov file but cannot play it with any media player. can not add the file on FCP neither.
It seems that it has no index info.
I tried every MOV repair programs but didn't help me.
The file name ends with "-av" which meens it is recording file.
How can I repair this file?
Please help me.

Welcome to FCP.co.
To really be of help, we need more information, what type of camera, what codec was used? Have you tried using quicktime 7 to import? Imovie?
Without information we are not really able to troubleshoot.

If you see "-av" then you have an incomplete file. It is simply missing too much information to be of use to anything. Trash it, capture it from scratch. Nothing will fix it.
"my FCP7 Log and Capture shut down during capturing" That alone tells me that you have an incomplete file that isn't going to work with anything. Simply trash it, re-capture that clip again.

I captured it from studio camera which was not connected to video deck... it was the only back up.
The codec is DVCPRO 1080i 29.97 fps.
