Installng Final Cut Pro 7 on Yosemite 10.10.3 - Nightmare for the upgrading stuff was created by tungsteno
I use FCP7 on my desktop and after some time I had to reset my macbookpro so I installed again it today on the new MacOs 10.10.3
Well, the only problem now is to upgrade it since the ProApplicationsUpdate2010-02 tells there's no need to upgrade, the version of FP7 is the 5.1
There's nothing out there for the stand alone upgrade so my only way should be to understand all what I need from the desktop to copy to the laptop.
If there's something else I don't know, which could be?
I should also make a research for the latest stuff I maybe have copied in some of my BD archive, but what the hell!
Apple could just leave them available, we are not playing, just working and this kind of decisions make me very unsatisfied. Take care, ciao.
update: found this article, maybe I could make a try on 10.10.3 Sidderke? www.fcp.co/forum/5-final-cut-pro-7-fcp7/...l-cut-studio-3#19880
