FCP 7 CUT FULL HD? was created by Edith
Hello,
-can I cut on FCP 7 FULL HD? If so, do I need a converter? If not, wich FCP would I need to make a good image film of 3 minutes?
- I've a camera JVC GZ GX1BE. Does someone know if this camera is made to make a good image film HD for a website?
Thanks for your answer,
Edith

Yes you can edit full HD in Final Cut Pro 7, depending on your hardware I would suggest using one of the ProRes codes when going into Final Cut Pro 7. With what hardware would you be editing?

Thanks for your answer! It s a good tip. I'll try to convert into PRO RES.
For now I'm still with a problem: My Camera-SD Card makes a AVCHD File with the plans inside. This doesn't help to import. Do you know how what to do?
Greetings, E
PS:
I work on Mac book pro OSX 10.9. And FCP 7.0.3.

You could use the log and transfer option, or run them through compressor to convert to ProRes
