I mean, it will be the *fifth* OS update since FCP 7 launched.

Early reports were that it wasn't looking good, but it's tough to know if that's because the OS is in beta, or if FCP 7 is truly broken in Yosemite.

Fingers crossed it still works, if only for those legacy projects/clients that insist we stick with 5 year old software.

have you found out if yosemite killed any of the legacy fcp apps? I'm using compressor 3.0.5 and i wanted to know if it killed that in yosemite

Soundtrack Pro and FCP 7 seem to be working fine for me. Haven't tried DVD SP yet, and apparently the legacy version of Motion is dead.
