Hello, all!

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card in my early 2009 MacPro (I still have the original ATi Radeon 4870 512MB card in there).

I'm wondering what cards people have in use that FCP7 is working on. I'm not looking for big gains in performance, though that would be a nice benefit. I need to get this machine in shape for AVID MC7 and new Adobe software while also running FCP7. So I just want to know what it working for folks.

Any and all advice is appreciated!

I have the ATI Radeon HD 5870 in a 2008 Mac Pro, and am very happy with it.
FCP 7 and earlier will have no performance gains with an upgraded GPU, as they don't use GPU much at all.

Yeah, I don't expect there to be any FCP7 performance gains. But I'd read so much about people having problems with FCP7 and upgraded cards, I just wanted to hear about what's actually working for people.
