I just logged and transported files for 13 sequences and discovered the scratch disk was set for my laptop, not the external drive I am working with. What do I need to do to make sure everything is connected correctly? Ugh.

If it works just fine, all media is in tact, delete the original on the internal drive.

- In FCP 7, set the Scratch Disk to the external drive, pointing to a "Final Cut Documents" folder on the ext.
- Quit FCP 7.
- Copy the Final Cut Documents folder (that contains all of FCP's working folder, including the Capture Scratch folder) to the external drive.
- Launch FCP 7 and verify.
