I have just got my hands on a Quad cor mac and every time I go to render my 6 minute project it stops rendering 2minutes in and tells me I dont have enough memory. There is 8 gig on this machine which is a little old but almost brand new. Got lots of disk space on internal drives etc. Can someone help?

Quad Core with 8 GB RAM, is that a Mac Pro, an iMac, what?

Can you list your drives, capacity, and how much is free space, specifically?

What codec are the video clips you're editing?
