anyone know why audio on timeline vanishes when exported OMF files are deleted ?

like I say I have exported all the audio as OMF files for mixing in Audition - when I dragged the OMF folder from desktop to trash all the audio in the sequence timeline disappeared, I can see no reason for this happening - anyone got an answer

I've just looked at v.7 for the first time in ages, and tried to duplicate this. There shouldn't be a "Folder" but a simple .OMF file. What steps are you taking to create that OMF export exactly? I'm afraid if you have a "folder" you're doing something besides OMF.
