Restoring files on FCP 7 without a source file was created by applehelp27
Hi-I know this is far fetched, but just thought I'll ask. I was working on a project and I had ingested the files through FCP. Problem is my media is all offline because the original files were connected onto a different scratch disk at my former workplace. So all I really have is the project and all offline media. Is there any software out there that can restore my media clips to an online state within FCP? OR is there a way to reingest the media and change the file path to my current drive? Any suggestion is appreciated

You need the original Scratch folder with the media. You need to do a Reconnect Media command. In the Help menu, go to the user manual, and look up "Reconnect Media". Been a long time since I had to do that in FCP 7.
