Hello,
It's my first day here.
I'm about to do some editing on FCP 7 and I'm shooting with a 5D MK ii.
I've downloaded the EOS plug in and I've got a G raid drive on the way.
ALL GOOD SO FAR!
I need some help setting up my settings on FCP 7 before I start using it.
I've been online and searched the hell out of it.
I've signed up for a course on LYNDA which I'm very excited about but even that doesn't specifically tell you how to set things up for the 5D mk ii.
I'm gonna shoot on 24fps (I've heard this gives more a cinematic feel) and will stick to NTSC.
Can someone please guide me through this?
Thanks
Iddo

24fps looks like 24fps video. If you want it to look like film then light, block, focus, etc, like film.
You'll use Log & Transfer to ingest the clips from your card. If you copy the card to a hard drive, be sure the whole card and it's folder structure are left in tact! Import as ProRes LT.
