Does anyone know if there is a shortcut for toggling through the clip appearance modes in the timeline? I looked in the commands menu but couldn't see one. Would be handy.

Not yet, fill out the feedback form. I'd love to have them.

What he said... In fact, everyone reading this should take a second to do so... I've gotten replies to some of my feedback, they are listening. That said, you *can* use the timeline index pane to do it... use the silly pop up menu to set the clip height as big as you want, then minimize/maximize them by role in the index. Still no KB shortcut, takes up screen space, and the primary storyline always remains huge. Sometimes beats a trip to pop up hell though. ;-)

Done.

I also told them I thought the video animations pop up is painful - never enough screen real estate vertically. 99% of the time I use this to fade up/down opacity - don't see why this can't work the same as audio fades. Mentioned that the color correction causing undo/autosave greying out bug is still there.

Someone from Apple got back to me yesterday to ask if I could walk them through what I did to cause the undo greying out bug (I get it often when I move the pucks in the color board/sat/contrast) . Nice to know they're on the case. Despite the naysayers, I think they're pushing to show that they care about FCPX on a pro level.

I found something else broken in 10.0.5. I'm recording voice overs in FCP X. Never had any issues at all in the past.

I create a new Event, let's call it "Event Z". I create a new Project, let's call it "Project Z", and I specify when creating it that "Event Z" is the Default Event.

I record in the Project Z timeline. When I stop recording, the audio clip is in a different Event. When I check the Project in the Inspector, it shows that Project Z is accessing a clip from "Event K". But when I check the Project's setting (wrench icon lower right), it still says "Event Z" is the default Event.

Not to mention how scrolling audio during playback causes the waveforms to disappear. That broke back in the 10.0.3 update.

Then Motion, if I have an Object Layer, or Filter/Behavior layer selected and F7 for the HUD, it's ok, UNLESS it's a Fade In/Out behavior, then the HUD is blank.

There's about half a dozen other things I've found 10.0.5 breaks, but I'm so busy and so tired I simply can't report them all.

I can't duplicate the record in wrong event problem. The recording goes to whatever event is specified in the recording module.

Perhaps this should be in a different thread of its' own, but since we're talking about 10.0.5 bugs, I have noticed intermittent behavior with the audio inspector.

When applying an EQ curve to an audio clip, if more than one clip is selected, the EQ box that shows the EQ presets sometimes is a complete blank black box.

Often, when selecting a preset for EQ to apply to a clip, (such as voice enhance, etc.) it seems to apply, but the inspector just shows two dashes (- -) where the preset name used to appear.

Trying to test this further before sending feedback to see if I am doing something wrong.

Creating history....one edit at a time !
