Cant edit clip ?

ok im in the middle of editing a video and I've added another clip to the storyline must of clicked something and now that clip is blacked out on the story line but the video still plays when i press play i can't edit, move or even highlight or delete it though. Please tell me theres a fix i don't have time do re do everything !!

Select a clip, use "V" to mute and un-mute it.

Don't think that's it, when visibility is off you can still perform any of the normal editing actions... highlight,delete, etc. He may be referring to clips that are actually *black*, not greyed out. I got a few of those in a 7toX import once and the only solution I could figure out was to recut them into the project. I could find no info in any documentation as to what a black clip meant. If anyone knows what the heck the black clip means please chime in!

That's odd. Can we get more details? Or a screen shot?

After looking, Maybe what i got isn't the same thing, as I can edit and delete these clips. That being said... here's a pic of what I'm talking about.
