Syncronized Clips was created by Marc Lucas
Synced a clip with an audio track (which was recorded on an external recorder) when the clip synced and was available in the clip viewer if I play the clip I can't hear any sound at all not even from the original audio from the clip. The visuals play but no sound. If I edit the clip into timeline the audio plays OK so why can't I hear anything when playing in the clip browser?
Also if I CTL+S to expand audio why does it only give me one track of audio, if I look in the Inspector I can see the two audio channels (where I can select to have whichever audio I want ticked) but the channel config box is greyed out just saying Compound Clip.
The only way I can get to the two individual audio sources is to double click the Synced clip and then CTL+S to expand the original clip. This seems a long way round to do something is that just how it is here at the min?

You should set the audio configuration before you sync the clips.

OK thanks for that Tom, pretty much the same way Multicam works I guess?
My main point was the workflow with the Sync Clip all the hoops I had to go through just to be able to see the different channels in the Timeline.
