Connected clip layering issue

Connected clip layering issue was created by fcpguru
Recently having some trouble with connected clips, shifting order on me when I make small adjustments. Example: I have a CineGrain clip over my whole piece with all my storylines underneath so that the overlay works. When I trim a clip or move the it slighty and let go of the mouse, the secondary storyline jumps on top of the cinegrain storyline and I have to annoyingly drag it back down.
1. Any one else notice this?
2. Any fixes?
Looks like a trip to the feedback page...

I'm trying to duplicate this, but nothing automatically jumps above or below anything else. Stacking orders stay consistent. No clue what's going on. Can you post screen shots?

I had a problem where if I put titles next to each other, as connected clips following each other, and then put a Hold Frame in the primary storyline, the 2 titles where automatically stacked on top of each other. I isn't the same problem, but maybe it's the same base problem?
I reported about it here:

Apple mailed me back that they would send my details to the engineers, so I think it's a bug. (IF it's the same problem, of course)

Pay attention to your connection stems, you may need to move them as you trim clips. It doesn't sound like the same thing. I'm not able to replicate this based on the description. Again, can you post screen shots?

Maybe it was something with that project, can't seem to replicate it. Having a hard time figuring out how to post a screenshot. On the current project, when I add to the tail of a connected clip, the audio clips below (i work with everything broken apart once I go to audio mixing) will shift, but in this case, they snap back to the order.
If I see it again, I'll post. Deadlines. Ack.
