One Drop Zone to rule them all was created by Postman07
Hi all
I am making a motion template and i am trying to make one drop zone to control 4 other drop zones.
Essentially you would only have to publish one drop zone that it would then add the footage to all the other drop zones, with out having to have five drop zones in fcpx. any ideas. Thanks

Have you ever worked with Replicators in Motion?
Here's a sample project file that does this for you to reverse engineer.

Replicator won't work in this instance. It's five separate animated objects that come together. and become one image

So you have 5 independent drop zones, and you want them to float together to become one big one side by side? Or to stack on top of each other only showing the top one?

If you create a drop zone then select it and hit "K" to create a clone layer (or any number of clone layers) it will do what you want.

Now I feel like a moron. Clone layer. Why didn't I think of that?
