FCP X with AVID ISIS drives?

I'm pushing FCP X at my edit house embedded in a national ad agency. So we mostly cut tv spots. Anyway, we have an AVID ISIS shared storage system. I break out FCP X to give a demo to my fellow editors and what...? I can't see any mounted drives from the ISIS. Anyone have any idea why? Are we just going to have to wait for Avid to update their software? That could be painful.

Is ISIS Windows based? Can it be Mac formatted?

No we are a MAC shop. We mostly cut FCP 7 and sometimes will use AVID. I can't put any events or projects on the mounted workspaces but i can put footage from them in events saved to the boot drive. So they simply don't show up in my events browser to projects browser.

So you can format the ISIS to run Mac OS Extended? If yes, then try using the mount SAN function. If no, then it can't be used.

The mount san function solved it. I thank you greatly for the quick and accurate response. Now I can start selling FCP X to my coworkers even though our engineer is an Avid guy. :cheer:
