Text Effects

Here is a video that I want to get a smilar text effect that this video displays, any suggestions? (the text in the first seconds that says "Geenboy") I have never seen anything like this before.

Super easy. In Motion, apply the Random parameter behavior to the overall Position parameter for that layer. Keyframe the behaviors own parameters. Should take all of 5 minutes.

You always reply to my questions and I greatly appreciate that. Any suggestions for doing some incredible things with text. Like I said in the other post I will be working at summer camp.

Funny, I may be about to teach my first film school summer camp here locally. It all depends on the story you're telling. Each one is unique, and will require different techniques. Just stay true to the story line, and the emotional content. Without seeing a specific video, I can't comment on what to do.

Well here is a link to previous videos of last summer that a videographer did. Now its my job to come in an revamp the entire direction. Please don't laugh either (which it will be hard not to).


I will be shooting footage and putting a soundtrack over. I know this is probably the most amateur work seen, and I hope to change it this summer.

Well make some online tutorials for your summer school and I will be tuning in via online student.
