Sequence layers equivalent in Motion?

Sequence layers equivalent in Motion? was created by grailz
I'm trying to make myself at home in Motion and there's a feature that has not (as yet) revealed itself to me.
In After Effects, there's a command called "sequence layers" which will distribute layers that allows you to lay layers on the timeline end to end. Cuts down on some of the manual work of arranging layers on the time line.
Anyone know if there's an equivalent in Motion 5?

Give this a try select all your objects in the File Browser, drag them to the Canvaskeep holding down the mouse button - you will see options pop up to either edit them in by compositing or sequential.

Thanks. Very useful tip. Is there a way to affect layers already created and in the timeline?
