saving color corrections

Is there a way to save a color correction as a favorite? Right now, I click on a corrected clip, copy attributes and paste them on other clips. That's fine if there are a bunch of them nearby but a nuisance if I have to hunt them down. There must be a more reasonable way to do this. thx

Pop open the Cog Icon in the Colour Board and save current CC as a Preset

Oh - how easy. Is there a way to get rid of all those other presets in there - I don't see myself using any of them. Also - I noticed those presets reside in the Event folder. So if I send the project to another computer (that has the same event on it) I would need to copy the event as well as the project because the preset won't follow the project. I run into the same problem when I add favorites or compound clips in the browser. Even if you make minor changes in the browser, you need to copy over the entire event, no? What about manually copying the presets from one computer to another - from folder to folder. I still am finding sharing projects to be a headache and pretty much avoid it.

The color board presets are files located on your system drive in the systems' final cut events folder (in a subfolder called "color presets"). They are not in the typical event folder if you elected to place your final cut events on another drive. I would think you could remove some of those, however those are application files integral to fcpx, so I wouldn't recommend touching those. Not sure how fcpx would respond at startup if they weren't there.
The standard presets should be available to any user who has fcpx installed on his/her system. I haven't tested custom presets, but I would think they may reside in the same folder, and yes those would have to be included I believe for another user to have access to them.
