Movie Logging Option in Magic Lantern - Is It useful in FCPX?

I'm just learning the in's and outs of using a DSLR and have been doing some work using Magic Lantern installed on my Canon 60D. It has an option for movie logging that you can turn on. Will this give me more metadata for FCPX when these files are imported? I noticed the other day on some test files that I imported into FXPX before I installed Magic Lantern, that the files did not contain the time of day timestamp (at least I don't think they did). But I haven't had a chance yet to turn this option on in Magic Lantern and test it to see if it gives me any additional metadata that's useful in FCPX. Anyone else know the details on this?

If TOD is set on the camera at least once, it's in your files w/out Magic Lantern. No clue what ML does differently.

Okay, I guess I knew that part. But, the date and time that shows up for the optimized files are the date and time which the optimized files were transcoded right? To see the actual date and time the original files were captured, you have to look in finder at the original files, right? But... I bet you're going to tell me that I can automatically change the date and time of the transcoded (optimized) files to the original capture date and time aren't you? It seems like I remember seeing that before, I need to look at that training clip again of Michaels.

I have clips I shot on a Canon 7D. Optimized the original H.264 files. I can see in the Finder the creation date of the ProRes files is 3/29. But in the Inspector for that same clip I can see the creation date is 3/26, the actual shoot date.
I need to test this further with 10.0.4 and see if it still holds up this way.
But yes, you can manually adjust the "content creation date". Be aware that this technically is not the same metadata as "file creation date".
