I have been watching videos lately and I want to use film flare plugin like this video. It appears in the first seconds of the video and throughout.

Anyone know where I can get this flare for cheap or free it would greatly assist in so many ways.

Here is another example to help.

FxFactory has a bunch. Sprocket Slip, Film Transitions, Light Pack, Light Leaks, etc. This is a very common effect and you can find it about anywhere.

Just google free light leaks, buy a package from one of the many suppliers, or remove the lens from your camera and flash a lightbulb in front of it. That's how most of these clips are made ;)

Be aware that this is a much over-used effect that won't last very long.

Thank you gentlemen for your help especially Ronny! I do agree it is an effect that wil not last any longer, what effects would you say are a still that are starting to come in style? I am trying to learn as much as I can on the editing side of things.

Here is a video that I want to get a smilar text effect that this video displays, any suggestions? (the text in the first seconds that says "Geenboy")

Thank you for your time.

Ronny

You said that many are over using the flare effect and that it won't last long, any suggestions on some effects that are not being over used. I am a beginner and trying to learn from professionals as yourself.
