Any way to re-render thumbnails?

I had to modify my event references (moved my event from a drive to a disk image) and in the process my waveform thumbnails have somehow gone missing.

Any suggestions as to how I can get the old ones or generate new ones? I frequently edit using the minimalist clip appearance setting but sometimes you need to see the frakkin' waveforms.

Then so to the other eat and see waveforms only.

When I do, the waveform thumbnails come up nothing but red.

Red is never good in waveforms. Either it's over modulated or the audio was missing when the thumbnail cache was built. You could try trashing the thumbnails with the app closed.

I'll try trashing them. On initial import they were definitely rendered and sat in ghastly green beauty. No over modulation and the waveforms appeared just as they should.

It was only after I had to modify event preferences that the red appeared.

I had some weird artifact left over in a compound clip, but once I deleted it from the project and re-inserted it in, my red went away.
