I'm asking everyone to fill out the feedback form and request the FCP X development team to add a button to the tool bar (and menu option / keyboard shortcut) so that we can hide the Event Browser. If we had that, then having the video scopes and inspector open at the same time for color grading work would be a MUCH easier.

No one has really mentioned it yet, I've only seen this mentioned once, but it's an easy modification, would be a huge help, and I'm pushing for it. So, fill out that feedback page!

Done!

I imagine this would be popular amongst those people at Apple using Final Cut Pro X as well.

I think I've already put in requests for this at least twice maybe more. Once you're in the fine cut, color grading, audio mixing state, you really want to lose the browser, the way you lose the event library.

I've been on the case for this one too, it seemed inefficient that the library could go but the browser can't.

Yeah could be useful, not a issue on a dual monitor system but could be on a smaller laptop station.

I find it a massive issue on dual screen as the scopes take up half the display and are almost too tall.
I'd love to see scopes more like a dashboard HUD, with two side by side.

I haven't requested this exactly as I really just want the ability to customize my workspace completely.
So that's what I've been asking for.
