Audio Levels was created by Marc Lucas
Edited a Multicam clip into my main storyboard I expanded audio & video on a number of the multi cam clips. If I select a number of those clips and drag down on the audio level it only effects the clip that I'm doing it on even though a number of clips are selected. But if I keep those clips selected and change the value of the audio volume in the audio Inspector they all go down by the same amount?

All timelines have always worked this way.

Yep, exactly the way that FCP 7 worked.
Quickly adjust those levels of selected clips by using the shortcut CTRL & -/+

One feature that you couldn't do in FCP Legacy is to reduce/increase the level of clips
directly in the Event Browser. Very Handy!!

OK

Strange how using a different program you sometimes forget to try other things. The way I usually adjust audio volume in FCP6, on multiple clips, is to CTL + or - I didn't try that last night in FCPX but I would hope that is the same in FCPX

Is the same, works during playback, too.

yeah I'm notice more things working whilst playback including resizing work areas which is handy. All in all FCPX is becoming better and better the more I use it. Can't wait for all the people who switch straight away to other editors because I think they have made a grave mistake!
