Compound Clip Confusion was created by youngeddie
When I'm working inside of a Compound Clip I'm having trouble moving or resizing some of the clips. I have to open the troublesome clip in it's own Time LIne, but then I can't see where to move it in relation to the other clips in the Time Line.
In other words, some of the clips in the Time Line don't respond to resizing, cropping, etc.
Why is this happening?
Please help!
Thanks,
Eddie

Are you sure you might not have created a compound clip within the compound clip? If you did, then you would need to break apart or double click that clip as well in order to access its clips. If this is not the case, the only other thing I can think of is that you may be at the limits of your clip media (in other words there are no handles or excess media beyond the end or before the beginning to allow resizing). In FCPX, the clip limits are shown in red on the edge of the clip when you try to resize.
I don't know if any of this may help.

Thanks for your response to my question.
I didn't think that I had created a compound within a compound clip, but maybe that's the case. I'll go back and check.
Thanks!
Eddie
