Turn off audio scrubbing in FCP X was created by rickytin
I would like to know how to turn off audio scrubbing in FCP X, I am not talking about audio skimming.

Thanks,

I believe that Skimming is the new scrubbing. Turning audio skimming off in X has the same effect as turning audio scrubbing off in 7 (even has the same shortcut). Unless I'm misunderstanding you?

Yes, there is not "scrubbing" in X, just "skimming". S turns on/off video skimming. Shift+S turns on/off audio skimming. That's it. Simply dragging the playhead in the Timeline doesn't play audio (at least on my system).
