Multicam Audio

Three cameras and an additional audio track after syncing in the Multicam timeline I take the multi cam to the storyline. I want the separate audio track to be the master audio and cut the pics to it. In the Multicam editor when I play I have the audio selected and it plays with the pics. When I go to cut the multicam in the storyline (and with the blue clip icon selected) when I cut between the clips all I can hear is the audio which is attached to the clips. I just want the single audio track to play while I cut the clips over it.
