Color + Multicam workflow

Messing around with the new multicam workflow. Usually I color correct and grade @ end of edit.

If I'm working on a music video w/ 3 angles and make lots of edits in my multicam clip... going back and color correcting many different angle "clips" individually in the timeline (past effects) is pretty slow.

Is there a way to CC and grade the angles and have the individual "clips"/edits in the multicam clip in the timeline update?

Or do I have to do my CC/grading before creating a multicam clip?

Open the multicam clip in the angle editor. Color correct there. Gets applied to all instances of the color corrected clips.

Okay, tried that and it works. Hadn't finished my tutorial vids yet before I jumped the gun. Diggin the workflow for music video stuff. Even though I only shoot with a single camera its great for multiple angle workflow.

FCP X has turned out to be a great investment. Glad I made the switch from PP/FCP 7

When I open my Multicam Clip in Angle Editor, I can easily Color Correct the top clip but I can't seem to be able to interactivley effect anything below it. I can skim another and I can select another and its title shows in the Inspector but the viewer is stuck on the "top" clip.

(sometime later)

I then figured out that I just need to click on the Video icon at the far left of the clip I want to work on...

Thanks,
Jeff
