AV Out and FCPX 10.0.3 (no AV option in Window) was created by mliebergot
This was interesting...
I recently installed Lion on a second separate drive and already had Snow Leopard on another.
I wanted to test out both OS's and FCPX.
Well I had to reinstall Snow Leopard (as the old drive was failing) and decided to do a clean install of snow Leopard. I migrated most programs over, but since I also wanted FCS on my Snow Leopard drive (Lion doesn't have FCS) only FCPX, Motion 5, and Compressor 4), I installed the FCS 3 suite first, and then proceeded to install FCPX, Motion, and Compressor 3.
Now I know that FCPX can't perform AV output from Snow Leopard, but what I found interesting was when I opened FCPX "AV" output in the FCPX "Window" wasn't even there to select or not.
Did Apple make it so that FCPX 10.0.3 would only install AV out in Lion only?
Also, does anyone remember the way to get display out of the Intensity Pro card to FCPX without the need of AV out?
Is it just to use secondary display to show the viewer on, like what can already be done with my Radeon 5770HD card?
Thanks,
Michael

Finally got it working but only with Lion.
Tested it on a Mac Pro 2.93 Quad.
Installed Lion on a separate drive to avoid the mess.
The cool thing is that I can access FCPX from the Snow Leopard drive and use under Lion.
The Intensity Pro works like a charm using 1080p HD 29.97.

BTW, see this thread on how to supposedly enable AV out via Snow Leopard.
Enable Broadcast AV out in FCPX in Snow Leopard
I'm going to give ti a try tonight.
