Hi everyone – having just registered here I wanted to say hi! B)

I've been using Final Cut Pro for about 6 years, and as an "island" creative (is that the best terminology?) I'm actually really looking forward to the performance and productivity enhancements that FCPX will bring to my workflow, especially as I mostly edit DV/HDV or DSLR footage and output to Quicktime. Also hoping this site is a good resource for hints, tips and news and maybe I can contribute some helpful info myself every now and again.

Do please have a look at my blog here – it'll let you know a bit more about me and if you're interested, how you can get hold of one of my "revolutionary" FCPX T-shirt designs... (there are options for fans and haters alike!!)

Hope you like them ;)

Just published a new blog post following cutting my first FCPX project.

It's not a review as such (as there are plenty of those around), it's just my take on things.... there's definitely a lot to like and ultimately – despite just diving in and not being familiar with where everything was – I cut and output the job much quicker on my MacBook Pro than I would have done in v7 on the Mac Pro tower.

I know there are missing features that some Pros need, and I know that I felt a bit lost on first launch but my goodness, the speed and fluidity of the magnetic timeline are a breath of fresh air! I'm glad I gave it a chance B)

Im really sorry, but i don't really like websites that sell products where there is no address, no phone number, no email address, nada. Just pay and hope for the best? No thank you. Btw. 210 $ aint 210 Euro?

Not sure what you mean?

If you're referring to electronic App Store delivery of software then you'd better get used to it – it's the future! It's not only more economical for the developer not having to produce boxed product, but updates are easier to distribute (and I believe that push notifications of updates will be available in Lion too).

Contacts and emails are available from the support section of the App Store too ;)

As for currency inconsistencies, I've just had to learn to live with that where here in the UK mostly everything Apple is more expensive than it is in the USA.

I posted a link to my personal blog believing that the thoughts and opinions I expressed there might be interesting to fellow Mac and Final Cut users.

I also thought that my FCPX T-shirt designs might be of interest too, so I blogged about them including a link to where they are available to buy through redbubble... If you don't want a t-shirt, or have a problem with redbubble, don't buy one.

I thought sharing here would be a good idea, but now I'm not so sure :(

I think he is refering to topic title t-shirt and that the online store has no information or does not seem legit from it's looks.

Ah. I certainly never got that impression about redbubble, otherwise I wouldn't have used it to share my photographs and t-shirt designs!! There are contact details at the bottom of every page, secure payments, addresses, help etc. etc...

Here's a direct link to my FCPX T-shirt , rather than going through my personal blog :)

Not sure if you are the Arthur of the site but it seems to be a serious fake! I checked out of curiosity and the number count for the Application number went down from the last time I viewed the site!
