Keyflow Pro 2 - Any good?

I just came across Keyflow Pro 2. Is it any good? Would you recommend buying it?
The last update was 8 months ago. Also in the App Store it says that In-App Purchases go with this app. So what is included in the one-off purchase price? And can it be useful without a subscription? Is it worth buying if I already have Kyno, and Final Cut Library Manager 2?

I manage several Pro DAM/MAM solutions and I have to say I am very impressed with what KeyFlow can do for a such an affordable price.

I recently took a client's 50 hard drives ( over 25 years worth ) of material ( 40TB ) and copied them all to a large direct attached RAID. I then used KeyFlow 2 to set up a basic management system for the user.

Keyflow manages all the data in-place ... it just imports content from where it lives on the storage. I imported everything from each drive to a separate "Folder" in Ketflow ( thus maintaining the clients memory of 'where stuff" was) . However Keyflow can easily search across all the material, or search in single folders using file names, dates, media type etc etc. Of course you can also Keyword tag content, add color tags, ratings ... whatever and bring content together in Smart Folders ... so no need to duplicate or move media from where it lives ( unless you want to! ).
Keyflow has a great browser, exports to FCPX ... and via a cheap IAP supports cataloging FCP Libraries too.
You can try it free for a time too...
I thought it was a great simple solution for managing media. More useful than Kyno IMO.
I am not associated with KeyFlow in any capacity btw.

Thanks for your feedback. I purchased the program a week ago already, including the multi fcp library add-on. Don't know what IAP means, however. Perhaps you can elaborate?

I already have a licence for both KYNO and FCP Library Manager Pro, so I think between the 3 of them, I am pretty well setup. All I have do now is learn how to use KeyFlow 2. Hahaha.

Sorry ... IAP = In App Purchase , for the FCP Library catalogs which you already mention purchasing!

Hope it works out for you.

There's nothing like it in its price. I find it great for digging up old material I may want to reuse (or clients request) for a new project. It's a great cataloger for a great price. I can search and preview material and know where to find it. So much better than trying to find which drive the media is on from four or five years ago. Kinda surprised that development has slowed and there's now barely any marketing from the company.
