SSD Original Footage

So currently I have a 5 TB HDD to store all of my raw footage, exports, and other assets. Then I have a 4TB SSD which I have my project file/ library for editing, plus a folder called original footage. May be a silly question but do I need to have the RAW footage folder on my HDD or should I just load it up on my SSD. I did this to save space on my SSD but it seems that with the original footage folder I am using the space anyways. All and any storage/ HHD/ SSD tips are greatly appreciated!! To clarify, I most do music videos if that helps with any advice. Thanks
