How to edit clips inside angles inside multicam clips?

I am relatively new to FCP, and I try to make a pretty basic muticam project with two camera's and some audio. After automatically syncing it, FCP put two audio files in the wrong place. No big deal, I thought. However, when I drag a clip to the right place and try to sync it manually with the monitoring video, it moves all other clips in the angle to 'fill up' the space left by the clip I'm trying to move. I have turned snapping off, but that didn't seem to help. 

Anybody here with the solution to the problem?

The 'Position' tool is what you're looking for - keyboard shortcut is 'P' and when you've got things where you want them, hit 'A' to get your regular cursor back.

You don't have to turn off snapping, but for precise placement I typically do.
